Scrip News

Great News! The scrip information will be on the school website. It may take a couple of days to get everything up but look there for updates, additions, bonuses, order forms and applications.

We also have a new line of gift certificates that will be offered through the scrip program. This is a paper certificate offered through GCA (Gift Certificates America) that will be accepted at over 300 LOCAL stores and restaurants. Most of the stores are in the St. Matthews and Highlands area. These certificates are offered in $10, $25 and $50 denominations, however please start out with $10 denominations. Each certificate can be used at one participating location, and no change will be given. Please go to the school site on www.ascension-parish.com and click on the link to Scrip for more information

Eighth grade parents, please remember Scrip and Kroger earnings can be used towards the Washington Trip in the spring.

This week:

• Max and Erma's is offering an additional 3% discount through October 19, 2007 on their $20 gift card. That means that the bonus will be 16% instead of the normal 13%.

• Chili's is changing their gift card to a $25 denomination. The discount remains unchanged at 11%.

• Sears is offering an additional 3% discount through September 14 on their $25, $100 and $250 gift cards. That means that the bonus is 7% instead of the normal 4%.

• Harry & David discount has changed to 10% effective September 1. The denomination remains the same at $25.

• Cabela's is offering and additional 2% bonus discount through September 27, 2007. That means that the bonus will be 13% instead of the normal 11%.
