It is an honor to welcome you to the official website for Church of the Ascension parish. Our parish community has been flourishing for more than forty years. Over the years, we have celebrated the baptisms of our newest members, and mourned the deaths of our beloved parishioners and family members. We have witnessed the growth of our community, and the renovation of our worship space, our school, our common areas, our athletic fields, and our grounds. We arrive with high hopes for the continued growth of our parish community.

As I continue in my pastorate, I thank God each day for the gifts of this community. Together, we are building the City of God in our neighborhood. We continue to educate our young children, form our young adults, and share the time, talent and treasure of all our parishioners: single people, engaged couples, married couples, seniors, families and extended families. We will offer the gifts of healing and compassion to those who are ill and lonely. We will hear and respond to the cry of the poor in our community, our nation and our world.
