GOLF & TENNIS REGISTRATIONS!
Ascension Golf Team:
Boys and Girls in Grade 3 and up are eligible for our Ascension Golf Team. The CSAA tournament will be held on June 3rd at Seneca Golf Course. You must be able to carry/pull your own clubs and know your way around a golf course. The CSAA does not allow parent involvement. So previous golf experience and knowledge of the rules is required. If your interested in in playing in the CSAA tournament please sign up via our SI Play page.

Ascension Tennis Team:
Boys and Girls in Grades 5 and up are eligible to play in the CSAA Tennis tournament. The tournament will take place June 10th – 11th at Sacred Heart and Seneca Park. Prior tennis experience is preferred. You can also sign up via our SI Play page.

FESTIVAL CHANCES
Festival Chances/Cake Booth donation turn in deadline is this Friday, May 10th for students to receive out of uniform for the last week of school.

PARISH FESTIVAL – HELP NEEDED
Ascension Festival is 23 days away and we are in need of people to Chair a Booth! Currently open are; Capital Prize for Friday and Saturday, Plush Animal Wheel for Saturday, and Plant Booth for Saturday. Please email festivalascension@gmail.com. PRESCHOOL OPENINGS
We have a few openings in our Three-year-old Preschool class for the upcoming school year (2019-2020). We would love for you to be a part of our Ascension School Family! Through guided play and exploration your preschooler will build their love for learning as well as develop important and vital social and emotional skills that will be carried with them throughout their academic career and beyond. Students will begin the process of learning their letters, numbers, writing names and engaging in the world around them to continue to foster their creativity. We begin faith formation by attending mass, discussing God’s creation and fostering a sense of community by participating in service projects. BOX TOPS COLLECTION
Our goal is to raise $2,000 in FREE money for our school! Neatly cut and collect unexpired box tops and send them into school on a collection sheet or in a Ziploc bag with your child’s name on it to the PTO mailbox located in the school office. Ask family, friends, and neighbors to save Box Tops for you! We will have two submission dates: October 15 and February 15. For each submission date, the class that brings in the most box tops will receive a popsicle party!

REMINDER
Student’s who are absent should be phoned in or emailed to Ms. Thomas by 8:30am. There is a 24 hour message system for you to phone in absences, 451-2535 ext. 18.
Also, it is very important that your child/ren arrive at school on time daily! Students should be in their class and chair by 7:55am. If your child is late, you must come in to sign them in. Thank you!
