Project Rachel (Hope After Abortion)
It’s normal to grieve a pregnancy loss, including the loss of a child by abortion. Fear, anxiety, guilt, and pain are common, not only for the mother, but also for the child’s father and grandparents, other relatives, and friends of the family, as well as medical personnel.
The pain of abortion can be intensified by a feelings of alienation from God and his Church. Thankfully, if you are in this position, know that healing and reconciliation reside in the heart of Christ, through his Church.
Project Rachel is a sensitive, private, confidential experience. It helps a person cope with emotional pain and reclaim self-worth and trust in God’s unconditional forgiveness. If you or someone you know is struggling with pain from an abortion experience, we invite you to call this confidential hotline: 502-471-2155. Or visit hopeafterabortion.com or email projectrachel@archlou.org.
Little Way Pregnancy Center also offers a post-abortion healing ministry.
